Physiotherapy is a health care profession which emphasizes the use of physical approaches along with therapeutic modalities such as movement, massage, manipulation techniques and electro-physical modalities.
They play a major role in restoring movement and functions along with prevention of risk factors related to physical dysfunctions.
Physiotherapists are consulted in relation to the physical problems of patients, in particular those associated with neuromuscular, musculoskeletal, cardio-respiratory systems, women’s health and also about the prevention of problems relating to The analysis by physiotherapists on physical problems includes psychological, cultural and social factors.
The aim is to identify and diagnose the specific components of movement dysfunction responsible for the patient’s physical problems.
